COVID-19 update

I wanted to take the opportunity to reach out and update everyone on the CFMM’s response to the COVID-19 situation.

Over the past several weeks our staff have put in place precautionary measures to minimize the risk of transmission by ensuring surfaces of the MRI equipment and peripheral devices are cleaned and sanitized between subject use.

There also exists relevant posted signage and we encourage investigators not to coordinate MRI appointments if volunteers/subjects are ill, showing any symptoms (cough, fever, chills, etc.) or have travelled to countries and regions identified as having active travel and health notices for COVID-19. Please pre-screen your subjects.

We are monitoring the situation closely are are following the directives as set forth by the Western working group for COVID-19 and the advice of the Middlesex London Health Unit. As of this morning, while classes have been cancelled, research efforts will continue. For more information please refer to ...

During this rapidly evolving situation we understand that unexpected situations may arise with your subjects. Please note that our cancellation policy will not be enforced for any COVID-19 related events or concerns. Precaution and safety are our main concern.

If you have any questions regarding the CFMM policies and procedures please feel free to contact me. and follow this page for any further updates.
